Continuous measures
Daily, objective data from the phone and validated wearables, plus short self-reports, across the entire study period.
Change from baseline
Each participant is measured against their own baseline, which separates meaningful shifts from ordinary differences between people.
Low burden
Participants use their own phone. Most data is collected passively, and each signal is shared only with consent.

Sponsors & CROs

Polarity is designed to work alongside the trial platforms and partners you already use. In sponsored trials, the data belongs to the sponsor.

How a study works

1 · DesignTogether we choose the signals, the study period and the self-reports that fit your protocol and endpoints.
2 · Set-upWe configure the study, the consent flow and the list of permitted devices.
3 · CollectionParticipants take part from their own phone. Data quality is followed throughout the study.
4 · DeliveryYou receive a documented dataset, with an audit trail for every value.

Questions study teams ask

Does Polarity send alerts about participants?

No. In trials, Polarity collects and delivers data for analysis. It does not send alerts or clinical messages about individual participants.

What is Polarity's regulatory status in trials?

Polarity is being developed as medical device software. In trials it is used for data collection only, and the regulatory requirements are assessed for each study.

Who owns the data?

In sponsored trials, the data belongs to the sponsor. In academic collaborations, data rights are agreed with the research group for each study.

Which devices can participants use?

Participants can take part with their phone alone. Wearables are optional, and each supported device is validated before it is added to the published list.

How is a study priced?

Per study: a set-up fee plus a fee per participant per month.

How can we get involved?

We're looking for research groups and sponsors interested in upcoming studies. Polarity is in development, and a quality system for clinical trials is being established.
